Dog lost in space? Grown an extra head and don’t know why? Pocket money stolen by a green blob? You need the Space Detectives! Join author Mark Powers for plenty of outer space fun from his new children’s book Space Detectives.

Mark Powers has been making up ridiculous stories since primary school and is slightly shocked to find people now pay him to do it. He sold his first comedy material to BBC Radio 4’s Week Ending programme when he was just seventeen, closely followed by a stint writing material for Smith & Jones on BBC One. Mark is also the author of the hugely popular Spy Toys series which won the Fantastic Book Awards in 2018 and has been optioned by Dreamworks. When he’s not writing hilarious children’s books he writes comedy and drama for radio, television and the stage.
