Hannah Gold studied screenwriting at university and worked in the London film and theatre industries before taking time out to pursue her dream of writing and share her passion for protecting our planet. Her first book, The Last Bear, was the biggest selling debut hardback of 2021, and won the 2022 Blue Peter Book Award and the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize as well as being nominated for numerous awards including the Carnegie Medal.
