Gareth P Jones produced television shows such as The Big Breakfast and Richard & Judy before his first children’s book, The Dragon Detective Agency was published in 2007. Since then he has published more than forty books including the Dragon Detective, Ninja Meerkats and Pet Defenders series and the mega award winning The Thornthwaite Inheritance. He won the Blue Peter Book Award for The Considine Curse in 2012. He still works on television programmes sometimes and is an awesome musician, writing theme songs for all his books.
