What is this mysterious Grotlyn? And why has he stolen PC Vickers’ knickers? What sort of creature could it be, scuttling across the town?

Come and find out as Benji Davies brings his rhyming tale to life, with live illustrations, the chance to join in and some arts and craft too!

Benji Davies is an illustrator, author and animation director. His first picture book The Storm Whale won the inaugural Oscar’s Book Prize and his second, Grandad’s Island, won the children’s book category of the 2015 AOI World Illustration Awards. Benji loved to create from an early age – he remembers painting at the kitchen table as a child (and still loves to do that as a grown up!).

Benji studied animation at university, and since graduating he has worked on animated short films and music videos, as well as his acclaimed children’s books. He loves the sound of rain falling on the roof, and if wasn’t an author, he would love to be a drummer. He hopes he never has to clean the windows on a skyscraper, though. Benji lives in east London with his wife Nina and their daughter.
