Our Data & Privacy Policies

You are at the heart of everything we do here in Barnes and we are committed to maintaining trust and confidence by handling your personal information with respect.

If you sign up for our mailing list, book tickets, apply to be a volunteer, or give us a donation, we collect your name and contact details. This is so we can get back to you by email, or occasionally by phone, about your involvement in the Festival. Sometimes we need to obtain or provide you with additional information for some reason.

If you make a donation, we may ask you for some further details, such as why you have decided to make a gift to us, but it’s up to you whether you tell us.

We’ll only keep this data for as long as is necessary to share with you with the information you’ve requested and then it will be removed from our systems.

Mailing List

We use Mailchimp to keep in touch so we can tell you about all our latest signings and other amazing Festival news. You can easily unsubscribe at any time at the bottom of our newsletters or by emailing us at [email protected].

We’re not in the business of selling, renting or trading our mailing list with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We’re not fans of others who do it and we’re not going to do it ourselves.


Most of the websites you visit, including ours, use cookies which are small text files that do lots of different jobs including making the site faster, easier to use and more secure. If you want to buy tickets from our website you’ll need them. Cookies also tell us how many visitors we have to the site, how you reached us and what pages you do and do not look at, for example, which helps us to programme the events you love. If you’ve bought a ticket to one of our events, then your information will be stored and used by our third party ticket provider Ticketsource in accordance with their Privacy Policy

We’re learning as we grow and we are committed to being as safe, open and upfront as possible about what data we hold. If we ever make any changes to our privacy practices we’ll let you know. If necessary, we’ll ask your permission.
